"They don't dare to be different, they just are--and they take pride in being so," Dan Willging from Dirty Linen Magazine states.
Feet tapping, hand clapping zydeco dancing fans in northeastern USA often say, "It was fabulous! We loved it, our guests and audiences
loved it and people are still talking about playing the washboards…CSZM's shows are so much fun to watch because you really
touched everyone in the audience with your rapport." Their nouveau zydeco style is very special in the New York State
capital region and beyond. Since 1996, they have been performing to thousands of people at festivals, weddings, parties, conventions,
village park concerts and club dates. They independently record for GSM Records and have sold out the first pressings of their three
albums to people of all ages. Their fourth CD "Zydeco on the Radio" (GSM Records) was in the Cajun/zydeco Grammy runnings in 2007 and is being played on radio roots music programs around the world. Band members include Greg Speck ( accordions and vocals), Brian Egan (drums and vocals), Trisha Blackwell (frottoir/scratchboard and French vocals), Drew McCabe (bass and vocals) and George Seror (guitar and vocals). These are veteran musicians who come from a diverse background that makes the band a real musical gumbo. Touring to perform at 50+ events each year has them quite busy. They have opened for The Neville Brothers, Buckwheat Zydeco, Terrance Simien, C. J. Chenier, Steve Riley, Chris Ardoin and Geno Delophose and the Spin Doctors .
